Why do they always say Rob Spencer is one of the better referees? Better than who? Messed up big time denying Dave Gilbert a possible snooker shoot out title when he couldn’t hear the shot clock. I was watching at home and saw the time foul. It’s something you have to be alert to. Plenty of other gaffs. He’s not one of the better referees.

if Rob Spencer is one of the "top" referees, he's pretty near the bottom of that list. Him and Ben Williams seem more interested in having a laugh with the players than focusing on the match. It didn't really matter in this instance, but I've seen him make a few silly mistakes before too. 🙄
