I think that dbd portrays the licenses really well. And i think this is a great big opportunity for both parties.

The Reason why it was announced so Randomly is because of FNaF’s 10th Anniversary roadmap, with today being the Collab Announcement, and I am extremely happy it’s Dead By Daylight. I will be sad if it’s just a Skin Crossover with some Cosmetics for the existing Killers and Survivors, but still I would imagine it wouldn’t take an entire year for some Cosmetics. I hope we get to see Afton (whatever form he way take) slashing away at Survivors in the Fog.

They announced it sooner because of the 10th anniversary of FNAF. And there is a list of things that they were going to do, one of them being a secret collab, which is what happened now.

best license bhvr ever got, hopefully at least 3 skins for springtap including movie spring bonnie with mathew lillard's voice lines, glitch trap from help wanted and burntrap from security breach as well as maybe some fnaf vr skins? for survivors both mike and vanessa from 1st fnaf movie and possibly legendary skin for new main character in new fnaf 2 movie and map doesn't matter which one to be honest.

I think in terms of representation, the killer HAS to be William Afton as Springtrap in particular to me. His design suits Dead by Daylight perfectly

Don't know which route they'd go mechanically, but if it were to stick relatively close to the games I could totally expect a ventilation mechanic with Springtrap being able to traverse them (*With survivors being able to seal them off*) as well as an oxygen mechanic with it causing phantoms to appear as hallucinations. I think that'd also be a solid way to include the other FNAF characters without it having to literally be them. That and/or giving him a jumpscare lunge attack LOL

He also just has very easy options in terms of cosmetics
Like doing skins for Springtrap/Scraptrap/Spring Bonnie/Yellow Rabbit (*His look from the movie*) are all very easy options to me and that's without getting into any original concepts which I'm sure Scott would be open to doing given the skins on stuff like the AR game

I also think doing Legion skins in particular would be great! Adding the FNAF 4 bully masks would be such an obvious pick to me, and I think a full Vanny set would be a perfect fit for Legion too. I'm not too sure on what other cosmetics you could add but there's definitely room there so this could become a very lucrative license for them if they follow through with this

I'm not as sure on a survivor, I do know the official Blumhouse account replied to that announcement though so I wouldn't rule out Mike/Vanessa from the movie, but I'm not sure a game survivor would work nearly as well given you never really see them fully

Not sure on a map either, I think locations are very important to the franchise but I'm not sure how fun they'd be to play. If it was just a building in the middle with an outside area all around that could be fine though. I'm assuming it'll be the first game's pizzeria but I can also understand it being Fazbear's Fright (*Where the third game takes place*) as that's the game Springtrap is from.

A lot of text, just figured I'd share my thoughts as a fan to anyone who isn't in the loop that might be curious on what this collab could potentially bring

As someone who isnt a fan of the fnaf games at all, this is a great announcement! Plenty of fnaf fans out there you will be very happy this was added. Definitely deserves toxbe in the hall of fame of horror. And for those who dont think it fits the tone of the game, we have an elephant outfit for the clown, a bunny outfit for the legion, naughty bear, alice in wonderland characters and the trickster. It will be fine.

I want to see Vanny or The Mimic since those are the more recent beloved villains in the series and for survivors maybe they can get Josh Hutcherson or the Security Guard from the movie or have a custom model for one of the 8-bit sprites of the night guards
