Hangly-Man 1981 (ハングリーマン Hangurī Man)

Hacked Bootleg Clone of the original Pakkuman Pac-Man
Release sometime in 1981. Hangly-Man was also made available on the Atari 5200/7800 gaming console. Hangly-Man became one of the better known hacked clones of Pac-Man. Others to note all released around the same era include:
- Caterpillar Pac-Man 1981
- New Puck-X 1980
- Piranha 1981
The ghosts are in the original name however the main difference is the levels. The maze has a different twist in Hangly-Man as one of the power options makes the maze disappear until the level completes or Pac-Man dies once. One of the Mazes has no borders which adds a further uniqueness to this particular version.
Trivia: Hangly-Man is a mis-transliteration of the Japanese pronunciation for Hungry Man.
