Greetings and continued blessings, my friends, on this Solemnity of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. I have not been able to find any biographical information about this song’s author, Martin Willett. I can tell you that this song contains references to John’s Gospel, chapters 1, and 6, and other Eucharistic texts proclaimed on the Solemnities of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. A very simple message told through a simple melody and some rich vocal harmony backgrounds. Until we can sing together again… “Behold the Lamb”.
