At least three people have died as a result of the historic lake-effect snow storm slamming western New York.

I live on long Island and we haven't even seen any snow yet. The difference of the climate even when you're in the same state really shows how big the state really is.

Why on earth were the not roads closed before the snow fell? This storm was never going to change course.

Over 88 crashes and the amount of tractor trailers stranded on the roads is simply unacceptable…

Enough of the pity party. Here within sight of Mexico we were forced to endure brutal weather. It plunged down to 34 degrees this morning and it barely got to 61 degrees. We do get devastated by snow. Last year we received an inch of snow. I have a 4x4 to survive winters here.

This just like I remember from the early 1940's. Earth's weather has a 122 year cycle, we are about 10 years into the cold 60 years again, expect 50 more years of our weather continuing to cool. WWI and WWII were fought in bitterly cold weather, it's back.
Our fuel prices are headed towards $20 a gallon for nothing. Soon I will not be able to afford to drive my RV. Ron W4BIN

Beautiful weather they're having. I live in California where we don't even have winters anymore. I lived in Colorado back in the late 90s, the snow was awesome. I would love to go out and play in the snow, makes you feel like a kid again.
