I was searching for a tool to help me dig through more than a decade of stored backup data. I have made backups of data for 20 years or more in order to keep photos, and documents, and music, and videos, and everything else imaginable. Over time I backup the data again and again, and eventually ended up with it all on a single drive where th data is nested into sub-folders of sub-folders, and duplicated like crazy.
I wanted something powerful, but simple to use, and ended up with rdFind. A really power, straight-forward tool that you run from the terminal to help locate, and remove the duplicates from your drive. It runs on Linux, Windows, and MacOS, and it gave me back 355 GB of drive space when all was said and done.

Try out SSDNodes VPS Services! Amazing Specs for incredibly low costs. I'm running a 32 GB RAM / $ CPU Server for only $9 a month! Seriously. FOr long term server usage, this is the way to go!
