First Time Applying Gold Leaves

Welcome to my channel! Do you remember your first time using gold leaves? If you haven't tried them yet, I recommend starting on paper. It's a good idea to practice this technique a whole bunch before you give it a go on a canvas. I really enjoyed using gold leaves for my illustration but next time I will be using the squares instead of the flakes. I just found that it was clumpy and hard to spread.
