Beautiful image Christian that works so well as B& W. I get a bit lazy with B&W and tend to use the NIK collection silver efex pro but this has given me some inspiration to do it all from scratch in lightroom. I really enjoy your tutorials 👍

I have found that cleaning up the image of dust spots and objects before editing is much more successful. LR offers so many editing options to meet each image maker's vision. Enjoyed the video and your approach to converting to B&W. Thank you.

the spot healing/removal tool should be used before applying the masks. this is because the part of the masks in the affected area will be removed, and it will leave an ugly hard edge which can be seen in this image.
