RETRO 80s POWER PROP FLYING GLIDER REVIEW

Показать описание
Power Prop Flying Gilders were a must for all boys growing up the 80s. They were very cheap, but provided hours of fun. I managed to one whilst I'm here in the UK, so I just had to buy it to see if it's as good as I remember.

Man I remeber almost every boy from my old class used to have these. I even had one those big bombers, which was too heavy to fly.

Always got mine from flea markets and a few variety stores. Favorites were the Lockheed p-38 lightning rhe only twin prop plane they had I believe and the spitfire and tomahawk all my faves

Being born in 1990, I remember my grandma had a friend who would visit once a month or so. Ida, an austrian lady who lived in Switzerland where we're from.

She'd always bring one or two of these for me, since they cost like 1.- (CHF) or 2.-, and I loved them.

I must disagree with the notion that "kids these days" wouldn't enjoy the product, tho. My gf's brother has a 7yr old girl who quite enjoys them, too.

And my brother who is technically of the same generation (though he was born in 2000 and is thus an early Gen Z) would always enjoy the same stuff we liked, aside from video games, naturally.

I had few of these back in 1982/1983... marvelous but extremely fragile. As a 4 year old I thought why make it so light and fragile while it cannot fly like a paper plane? They sold them at stores.
Oh yes... the paninni stickers... Euro 1988 and the holographic reflective ones were all the rage. I still remember the smell when opening them.
