Is 2K Making FIFA 25!?

Rumors continue to swirl about the football governing body, FIFA, making a brand new soccer game. Our SGO footy guru Curtis is here with the latest details.

EA Sports FIFA 23 is the upcoming soccer game for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Nothing else is known about FIFA 23, but we will report as soon as any news breaks.

Imagine realistic player tendencies like in NBA 2K. Imagine actually having to worry coming up against Mbappe or Vinicius on the hardest difficulty because they’re as unstoppable as they are irl. I would never buy EA Sports FC again

As bad as 2K is, they're way ahead of EA for game development. If we basically got an NBA clone but for FIFA then that's better than anything EA have done in 15 years. 2K are greedy and make everything a grind though

Fifa needs to do two things... Get rid of scripting and get rid of the frostbite engine. Fifa could be so good but EA is too stupid.

EA Sports only pulled in big numbers cause they had zero competition.

The last time EA Sports went head to head with a Sports franchise it was 2K that made that game & it was NBA2K v EA Sports NBA Live mopped the floor with RA Sports.

Fact 2K do simulation games like NBA & WWE & they will make FIFA a simulation game plus give fans what they want with their own verson of Ultimate Tram & a creation suite to create a stadium logos tournaments manager player crest & create a kit that can be uploaded & shared amoungst users.

All I want to hear, is that 2K is making an NFL game. Doesn't even have to be simulation. Just put out an NFL game, and win back the license to make a simulation game.

It would take six years to make a decent sports game from scratch, it ain't happening. Starting from zero is like maximum football level of quality even for a real studio.

Imagine loading into “the city” and playing a realistic 3, or 5 a side. I don’t like the idea of having a mycareer like mode dictate your players growth though. They should keep it the way it is with the skill points. Walking into everything to purchase clothes, or even play a pro club match would be cool too, but it’s really annoying waiting for someone to walk to the pro am lobby and send an invite on 2k, so maybe a choice of spawn would be cool. Idk there’s so much they could do with this. Football is way more popular around the world than basketball is. They can add aspects from different football cultures everywhere.

I really hope 2k introduces a fifa game and brings it to mobile for more downloads also probably add a carreer mode like they did in fifa mobile
