Fifa 16 was the most unique fifa in terms of gameplay. It just felt different especially on xbox

I loved FIFA 16, for me it had the best soundtrack and while the gameplay arguably wasn’t as smooth as FIFA 17, I definitely found it an improvement on FIFA 15.

The ignite engine would make fifa look and feel real if they kept upgrading it but we just stuck with an arcady game

Even I can play ea24/25 on my laptop, Fifa 16 still the best gameplay for me. It's just satisfying on their physic mechanism. Underrated football game ever.

The Ignite Engine was what made FIFA so fun and great to play they then wanted more realism and introduced the Frostbite Engine which was made mainly for FPS games and just doesnt suit sports games the Ignite Engine is way ahead of Frostbite interms of gameplay who cares about realism its all about gameplay and having fun and in my opinion EA took all the fun out of this franchise.

The last Advanced Shooting drill on Fifa 16 was the GOAT. So smooth and relaxing to score bangers in different scenarios.
I have 700+ hours of just playing that and trying to get the maximum score in each situation.

the problem in fifa16 was that cpu didn't do any tricks, dribble.

the worst thing about it is that this menu works 10 times better than the one in the current edition. Beyond the playstyles there is nothing to positively affect the game. More and more parcel payments, a broken marketplace and unnecessary features. I miss the editions from fifa14 all the way to fifa18.... But unfortunately those times will not come back and EA just wants to screw us for money.
