It's been so long since I've played this game that I've probably forgotten like 80% of the events and story beats but just the music alone makes me want to cry sometimes.

The leitmotif of Elysium’s call is what makes this music so amazing. It finalizes the legends and myths about alrest and it feels like the real Elysium was discovered by the end of the game. While the orbital ring in the first low orbit station may be gone, no one has to fight over land anymore.

Edit: It's been a year and a half since I completed the game and I still cry listening to this.

I heard of this game for years, but I had never played it myself, until I get the game for christmas. Then, I started the game, and after I forgot to save and lost 2 hours of playing, I have not played the game until the middle of April. Today, I have finished the game. It took me 3 weeks, and 52 hours of playing.
After all this I could say a lot of things, but I'll stick with this because I don't speak english and I don't want to write a novel : What a game. (I cried several times.)

I’m not the most emotional person, but this game made me a few times very emotional. Especially in the final stages of the game. I didn’t cry but I felt happy and sad at the same time. The soundtrack played a huge role in it

This theme seriously feels like it was taken right out of Princess Mononoke. :)

Its unfitting in a painful, yet amazingly potent way. The song is bittersweet, like parting ways made manifest. It is perhaps the SECOND best song i've heard that encapsulates that feeling. It is the curtain call for the very game itself... and, on first hearing it.. curtains for the two that, in my opinion, practically turned the game from great to amazing just by... existing. It is the end of an experience... well, almost the end, anyways.
