Hi, cool video! Do you know if there’s a way to physically reduce the sensitivity of those mics on the Echo Show? I tried putting tape on the two mics but it doesn’t really help. I want Alexa to listen but only if I'm really really close. Thanks!

Good video Sir ! I´ve bought one of this last month and mine doesn't have an audio output conector, just the power in and the micro usb. Do you know if Amazon just didn't solder the conector and neither gave the back access to the plug ? If yes maybe I can open the device and complete this functionality. Thanks in advance

Have you tried hooking up a USB hub and connecting other things like a USB NIC to see if wired networking is possible?

Hello. Good job! I think this is a 4 ohm speaker. I changed the speaker for echo dot 3 unit and i gess it can be the same or have the same specs so any 4 ohm speaker that fits there would be ok if anyone whant to change it. Keep up the good work.

my echo show 5 does not come out of the screen with the amazon logo. I already tried the factory reset and the quick reset, but it doesn't work.... do you have any tips?

Hi, i am searching for a solution to play back audio with the internal speaker while a headphone jack is connectet. if i solder some wires strahigt from the internal speaker to the audio jack, would this solve my problem ?

Can you pleeeese :) make a video how to replace the speaker with better quality one and put description what size and model need to be. A lot of people like me bought it in a pack with bunch of BLINK XT2 cameras because is the cheapest Echo Show screen. but the problem is the sound is so cracking from the speaker you cannot hear normally any speech only some bells.

I was wondering about replacing Amazon's board with a raspberry pi, keeping only the speaker but most importantly the touch screen...do you have any specifications of the screen's connectors so that I can search for an adapter/shield for the rpi? Or maybe can suggest one?

Even with treble at max and bass at min, many people are complaining about too much bass/ muddy sound. im thinking that a washer under each speaker screw to create an air gap around the speaker would decouple it slightly from the resonant chamber, and hopefully reducing some bass. Apparently the woofer labyrinth works a bit too well!

Thanks for a good video! Did you ever figure out if the slider was a switch for the microphones? I want to be able to build a button that must be pressed to allow microphones to work (or not)... Better protection than the soft button that must be pressed.
