This explains why I recently saw a double in price on Life Savers, same bag, same everything. We could just ban the over 1, 000 dangerous chemicals our FDA allows through, but are banned in all European countries.

I remember when they put a tax on what they determined to be junk food. I was a total disaster.
A lot of children's foods are terrible.. Juices, snacks, breakfast cereals are the worst. Adult breakfast cereals aren't much better. Still when you have the Nanny State banning food, which I agree this will lead to, it's not good.

There is a huge obesity epidemic Putting labels on cigarettes helped increase knowledge and decrease use. I see no issues with them adding labels to increase awareness of the impact about what we are consuming. Singapore did this and it reduced healthcare costs.
