I'm surprised to learn about the Rise working that well for you. It's a high drop, 36/26 rear/front stack distribution shoe and yet it worked miracles for you as a forefoot striker. The other model, Supernova Prima has been recently released and it's supposed to better suite FF striking runners. Anyway, happy to hear you're enjoying it immensely.

Ordered it now, for 65 pounds. I need a softer daily which is not too high stack for daily easy and longer runs. Looking forward to trying it!

Picked up a pair on discount for $60 USD, did my first easy run in it and it was excellent. Good recommendation!

As you’ve mentioned in past videos, a shoe like the Supernova Rise should not exist in 2024. Every shoe brand has become, more is better. More is not better for all runners and glad that Adidas is going a different route.

I ordered a pair in your colorway that was on sale for 20% off. Can’t wait to try them out alongside the SL2, also ordered in the Lucid Lemon/Core Black colorway.

Your review is just the perfect balance between an outline and detail.

This shoe massively surprised me. Easy runs, long runs - just eats them up. I use Adizero Pro 3, Takumi Sen 10 alongside this. Waiting on Adios 9 for non-plated tempo and intervals. The Germans have got me!! Not sure if SL2 fits in here but will be interested in your thoughts.

Thank you Chris! I was waiting for this review, and just 10 minutes ago, I decided to buy them

I like Adidas firm sensation in general. I found this shoe through your channel, and now it's stacked around 50 miles. I have to second that this is my favorite daily trainer and commute. This week, Supernova Prima is out and on its way. I would use Prima as a daily outfit shoe.

I've been revisiting these Supernova Rise videos as I just picked up a pair of the SNR 2 at an Adidas outlet for $28 USD! I was shocked to see that deep of a discount when it just came out 6 months ago. Excited to get a run in it and hopefully enjoy them as much as you have.

I am starting in running and have just had my first run on these. 10km and perfect since the beginning. When I finished they even felt better and softer, very protective. I like them more than novablast 4 TR. More stable for me (neutral) both on the heel and the forefoot and more space for my big toe.

Just got my pair in this week. Looking forward to the comparison videos. Particularly how it compares to the Puma Velocity Nitro 3 and Pegasus 41.

Can't wait for your thoughts on the SL2. I did my first run in them this morning, they're really great for the price

I appreciate this is an older video, but I tried these on yesterday and I was very pleasantly surprised with how good they felt. I had to go up a full size in the UK though (adidas shoes size rather weirdly in the UK) but otherwise yeah I was pretty impressed. Makes me want to buy a pair whenever I need to buy another daily trainer

I just ran my second run in these. Really underrated shoe, perfect balance of soft and responsive (at lease for my body weight i.e. 64kg).
I also love walking in these.

Just tried both the rise and prima today and I have to say I prefer the prima due to the superior forefoot cushioning that Im looking for in my weekly easy run. It has a similar feel to the novablast 4 that I am planning to get, though I can't be certain the difference in terms of the rebound as I was unable to run in the store. Now I'm in a dilemma. 😩

I have use this shoe for months now, it works well for daily 45-60 minute endurance run…but last Sunday, I try to do long run for HM preparation, I aim for 2 hours of Zone 2 run, HR 130-140, cadence 165-175, and got a steady pace at 7:00-7:30 km/min..relatively slow I know..I’m a regular cyclist that does Zone 2 riding for 2-4 hors, so this 2 hours long easy run is a breeze for my body, but it’s a different story for my leg…after 75-90 minutes, I feel the forefoot starts to bottoming and loose it’s cushion..and my right foot starts to go all over the place with it’s stride, so I have to work hard to keep it consistent..and after 1:45 both leg just give up, HR and body feels fine, but leg just can’t move anymore…

So I can’t use this for a long long run, at least for now at my current running level..would you recommend me to get other long distance trainer for 2 hour and above long easy run? And which one? In my current rotation, my only other trainer is Endorphine speed 3 (bought it on a steep discount), I don’t know wether it would help me for long 2 hours run, other shoes are takumi 8, adios 8, and metaspeed (sky + and edge paris)

Peba yes okay... but how is the peba?
Sorry for this stupid question, but since I run a lot in Li-Nings and Xteps I noticed... peba is not peba. Li-Nings Peba foam is firm, REALLY firm. They are firmer than Adios Lightstrike Pro, firmer than many eva foams.

Is it bouncy, or more like New Balance "marshmallow"foam?
