👉 Learn about the special right triangles. A special right triangle is a right triangle having angles of 30, 60, 90, or 45, 45, 90. Knowledge of the ratio of the length of sides of a special right triangle enables us to solve for any missing part of the triangle. The ratio of the side lengths of a special right triangle with angles of 30, 60, 90 is 1:sqrt(3):2, while the ratio of the side lengths of a special right triangle with angles of 45, 45, 90 is 1:1:sqrt(2).

remember, if a student seems as though they don't understand what you are teaching, make sure you face palm visibly irritated and repeatedly ask them the same question in a condescending tone. works every time.

Thanks so much! You make way more sense than my actual teacher.

Anyone else think that there was no one else in the class

Teachers like these alienate students.

Good information but if I was your student I’d square up with you asking if I understand like that. Respect your students like you would like to be respected.

Thank you! I am still lost because I have not been required to do this math since 1994.

Just spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to remember how to do math that I swore I would never need when I grew up! I was trying to figure out the diameter of my new puppy's exercise pen (thus the account name). So yes kids, you WILL want to know this when you graduate!

Acctually you can still divide "[88*sqrt(2)]/2" by 2 and get "[44*sqrt(2)]/1=44*sqrt(2)" and that is the acctual final answer.

Yea, asking ur student if they understood in front of the whole class with an irritated face definitely did the trick. This is of course if ur goal was for him to feel bad and say no.

I would have felt really bad if a teacher said that to me. Some ppl r more sensitive than others.

by how many degrees does a 45 degree triangle change when 1 sides becomes shorter by 1 cm along the angle? The sides are 10cm long

Can you help me how to figure a similar question when it’s a 45 45 90 triangle and hypotenuse is shown, but it’s X and Y instead of X and X?

I already know you would've pissed me off as a student. You need to chill and not be so aggressive if they look confused.
