Nice video. Great information, but oh the privilege of experimental aircraft where you're allowed to make these changes yourself without having to get oversight from an A&P who looks at your work and realizes he didn't get to bill for it, so he bills you for it anyway.

Aren't those "AN" fittings? (ie, not "NPT"). NPT are tapered threads that seal based on thread interference. AN fittings seal on the cone interface (ie, the threads only provide the compression force, not the sealing mechanism).
