If America was never America to you, I have one favor to ask, but be true. Live over seas, for a year or three, preferably in a 2nd or 3rd world country. View with your eyes, and ask "are They free?" Then surely you'll believe why America is America to me.

Wow! What an incredible talk. The whole country needs to hear this. And I 100% agree that people who grow up in cities need to understand what rural life is like and vice versa. Then they'll understand why people value different things depending on their lifestyle, the jobs in their area, etc.
