The house is looking good Steve. I really like the ceiling on the neighbors house. The wood on the ceiling, with the metal trusses...looks nice. Salamat

Steve we are here in London watching your house taking shape now and it's looking so good. You always give good advice and suggestions to other expats like my partner. Our build is in Davao and we are nearing second floor tie beams. Ainsley's build is quite exceptional and very high specs. Take care.

I notice one window opens inwards. Is that because there are going to be grills on the outside? The house looks great. 👍👍👍

How about making your septic tank a biogas generator for your dirty/outdoor kitchen...Convert human/pet waste...food leftover....yard waste, into combustible methane for cooking...

The ceilings and the soffits outside. Are they timber T&G boards or ply boards stained? Either way they do look good 👍👍👍

We have property in St. Rosa, Laguna that we're still a few years out before we build/retire out there. Would love to have a nice house like that built. What's the budget for that lovely home?

Please tell me the thickness of the CHB that your neighbor is using for his wall. I do not have a trained eye for construction materials. I am watching your build intently and I hope it far exceeds your expectations.

Steve, I 'm planning to built a vacation house in the Philippines. Is there a large number of expats living in that neighborhood? What's the location?

I missed your location. What is your island, city or town.

Hi, I’ve just come across your channel and am finding it very interesting. One question I have, I think I heard you say the roof could be as much as one million, is that correct? Seems like a lot of cash for a roof!

Thank you for sharing the construction. I don’t like the fence . Why going with blocks . I would prefer an open style fence or a styling fence that make the property look way better. I think a concrete fence is big negative hiding the beauty of the house. There is prefab fence that would make your house looking a millions pesos. I don’t understand the step up on the floor why a step up it is certainly not practical specially for handicap wheelchair or getting older like a tripping hazard. This is just my opinion.upstairs I notice the window open from the inside rather strange unless it is only to clean them and you can open them out. Another negative is the open ceiling it look nice but not practical with the amount of bugs 🐜 and Lazard going in and crawling on the open truss get ready for dropping all over these steel truss. Vacuuming that will be a full time job. In Philippines 🇵🇭 it’s not like North America. I’m not sure about the stairs maybe too narrow. In the Philippines the builders alway has a tendency building small rooms everything smalls that is their way because of lack of money from customers. Lovely fans and yes we need good one pricy but does the trick. If I could add for your house try to get a better looking fence their is out there on the market. Fence will make your house look nice or ugly. Open concept fence or a ladder style fence with trees 🌲 along the fence would look great. If you do have the money to invest into a nice looking design fence. Safety is a priority in Philippines 🇵🇭 are you putting bars in front of your windows from the inside ?
