The double whammy of the U.S blitzing into North Africa and the Red Army performing a massive wipeout encirclement of German 6th army trapped in Stalingrad at roughly the same time while this inspiring music swells in the background. Beautiful moment from that epic video.

This is just a masterpiece. In just 2 minutes you feel how the tide of the war changes, how every day thousands of men give their lives away to put another brick into the future victory, how much pain is borne through battles for once lost parts of the homeland. Indeed, music can speak.

1:19- Perfectly encapsulates the turn of the tide of World War II in November 1942. For starters, the German 6th army is encircled at Stalingrad with no chance of rescue or escape. The Africa Corps has been defeated at El Alamein and about to be cornered in Tunis as Vichy Morocco and Algeria are taken during Operation Torch. And finally, in the Pacific, the Japanese have run out of steam at Guadalcanal and are contemplating evacuating the island. I get goosebumps just envisioning all of that while listening to this music.

What I really like about listening to hoi3 and hoi4 soundtrack is how they incorporate certain parts of songs from hoi3 to hoi4 songs like at 1:20 that part is used at the climax of the Comintern theme as well just cool.

It started out soft. Weak and feeble. The Soviet Union was not the great power many people envisioned it to be. Ridiculed by the West, along with the disastrous results from the Winter War, there were times where people truly believed that the Soviet Union would simply be yet another victim of Nazi aggression.

However, the lands of Russia proved to be unconquerable to her adversaries, and whenever the Germans conquered a mile, there was always hundreds, if not thousands of miles before the Soviets would even consider capitulation. With her inexhaustible manpower and materiel, the Soviets drove the Germans out at a terrible cost.

Their heroic sacrifices and valiant efforts have not been at vain, and today we celebrate with those who believed in a free and just world, in spite of ideologies.
