I just don't understand Square anymore: They'll make sequels for Drag-On Dragoon (I have nothing against Drag-On Dragoon) and the abysmal Final Fantasy XIII. But they won't make a sequel to Vagrant Story or Final Fantasy Tactics? It's absolutely ridiculous. Vagrant Story and Final Fantasy Tactics are some of the finest games that Square has ever put out, better than most of the games that Square has ever put out really.

Takes me back to summer of 2000, when I bought this game with my first paycheck while in college. Just the intro was mind blowing, but once the wyvern appeared with this song in the background, I was totally taken away from this world.

Sakimoto is a great and underrated composer.

You ought to do "Ifrit" from Vagrant Story! One of the best songs on the soundtrack!

I think it lacks those percussion with the HUGE throw of reverb on it that the original song had, it made the song sound MASSIVE and even more intense.

Oh yess a Sakimoto remake!! I love how crisp and clear this is compared to the original. And for some reason this sounds similar to "Ultima, The Nice Body" (odd title, I know) from FFTactics.

More Vagrant story, more Sakimoto please! I would so love it if you did Climax of the Greylands Incident from Vagrant Story and Apoplexy from Final Fantasy Tactics. A bit of critique though... when doing Sakimoto works like this one here the basses need to be louder.

Also, franchises Front Mission and Parasite Eve are solid gems. But for Square to put out a lackluster spin-off (Front Mission Evolved) and a lackluster sequel (The 3rd Birthday) in the name of Front Mission and Parasite Eve is totally blasphemous to the high quality nature that those franchises generate. And hence, those 2 games are not worthy enough to please the enthusiastic fans that have been loyal since the 1990's.
