We are all dying. There is no escaping it. There is no preventing it. We are mortal beings. However, the one experience that we universally share, we universally avoid. We need to talk about death. By talking about death, we live more purposeful, passionate and fulfilling lives. By talking about death, we truly learn how to live.
This TEDx talk will speak to the universal, shared experience of death with the purpose of making the most of our lives. I will shed light on the common barriers that prevent each of us from having these conversations, clarify the importance of making our end of life wishes known and create a platform for each individual to address one of their biggest fears head on. By the end of this Ted Talk, listeners will feel elevated within their own lives; inspired to not only live more purposeful lives but to engage in conversation that they once feared.
