I really like Stone Colds interview style, he kinda prods and leads a talking point to let his guest take over the story and Stone Cold just listens, it's pretty cool.

Goldberg's gimmick was really like an early mma shoot fighter. Stone Cold was a brawling anti-hero who didn't give AF.

“Well yea……..there was no planning!”

Austin Goldberg in 2002 would’ve been epic. The stare down would be way better than the match, but what a moment it would’ve been.

Stone Cold Vs Goldberg. That's a match that happened many times in my toy fed as a kid. Unfortunately Stone Cold retired Goldberg by giving him a Stunner out of my window onto the patio in 2000

One of the aspects of Goldberg's WCW run that I enjoyed as a teenager, and I enjoy to this day watching the matches back, was the slow and steady progression. The matches got longer, the competition he faced got better, and the repertoire of moves and holds in Goldberg's arsenal grew. It is a large part of why Goldberg's match with DDP was and is so memorable capped off by it being the first instance of Goldberg helping up and raising the hand of his defeated opponent. Goldberg vs DDP was his graduation ceremony.

I truly miss both of these guys. They truly shaped this business during the 90's. Great time in this business. We'll never have that again.

Since day one I was a Goldberg fan. Still am a Goldberg fan.

All the hate he gets is unjustified, simply because they expect wrestlers to be born being a wrestler. Some people don't get that others live different lives in different situations in life.

Bill's story is an incredible one and he is humble for all of it.

Goldberg IS a superhero.

Really enjoyed this chat between 2 legends. Admire Goldbergs honesty and his love and dedication to his wife and kid.
A true man. ❤

The great thing of Stone Cold doing these interviews is how genuinely interested he's in what the guests have to say and he actively listens to them. He's present in the moment with the person and gives them their moment to feel heard without interruptions. It was great learning more about Goldberg and his story. This is full circle seeing these two legends that got confused so much, now together reminiscing years after those times happened

Its crazy that when Stone Cold retired he took fans like me with him for years. 12 - 13 yr gap for me but things like the bullet club, seth rollins turning on the shield, and Cody as stardust/jouneymen shockingly got me back into it.

Imagine if Stone Cold and Goldberg as a tag team in the 1990s I’ve been blessed to see all from 1980-Now what a life of wrestling

This was probably your best episode., Goldberg sometimes gets a raw deal, and is misrepresented by people. Thank you for giving him the respect. and thank you.
For being Stone Cold. I grew up watching both of you flipping back and forth some WWF and WCW.

These guys were the prime and peak of my wrestling watching experience. They both were bigger than life. I would still crumble if I got to meet these guys. If my kidneys didn't die and leave me stuck on dialysis, I'd have made it to some of their matches. And I never looked at Goldberg as a Stone Cold copy cat. They kinda resembled each other in looks, about it. Goldberg was power, ferocity and explosiveness and domination. Steve Austin was attitude, badassness, revolt, insubordination and mutiny. They both were badass. My 2 favorite wrestlers with Mick Foley.
