Recycling Tips from City of Flagstaff

NAZ Today's Jessica Duarte spent her day looking around Flagstaff's Material Recovery Facility to find out what happens to recyclable items.

Dylan Lenzen, City of Flagstaff Zero Waste Coordinator, says that plastic can get caught around the conveyer belt causing there to be delay in work and production. Lenzen encourages others to bring a reusable bag to the grocery store or a reusable cup to coffee shops before using plastic or paper products.
