It works for my ddr3 8 GB
I just did a physical check and there was no damage then I used a heat gun on the ram then install it back and in works 👍

I would strongly suggest you buy a cheap air reflow work station. It's well worth the small amount of money. I tried what you did with crude hot air gun and totally destroyed the board I was working on. Don't do it!

I ripped off three capacitors on top of my memory while inserting my laptop memory as a flat-blade driver...Can't I use it? Does it break down while using it?

I have 2 brand new ddr4 sticks each work on single channel but if installed to dual channel laptop is on black screen. What do you think is the problem? 😊 Thanks

Salut, am si eu o problema cu o placuta de ram . Am un corsair vengeance si are un thermal spreader care sta peste ram, l-am dat jos cu chiu cu vai, si pe placuta de ram in partea de sus se vede cupru inloc de culoarea neagra( gen foarte putin undeva cam 5mm), si pica fix peste un punct dinala(Nu rezistor sau alcv) doar peste un cerculet mic de pe placuta, banuiesc care leaga circuitu sau ceva sunt multe cerculete dinalea pe placuta. Ce cred ca pot sa-l fac? Ram-ul este detectat de bios, dar imediat cu cateva min daca si alea imi da blue screen si da erroare de ram . Eu cred ca de la aia e dar nu stiu cum as putea sa inlocuiesc circuitul de pe ram sau macar sa acoper cu ceva. Ai vreo idee?
