How To Change Personal PayPal to Business Account

In this video, we’ll walk you through the steps to convert your personal PayPal account to a PayPal Business account. Whether you’re a freelancer, a small business owner, or an entrepreneur, we’ve got you covered.

Step 1: Login to Your Personal PayPal Account

To get started, make sure you’re logged into your personal PayPal account on the desktop site. Once you’re on the home screen, select the setting gear icon located on the top right of the page. This will take you to your account overview.

Step 2: Choose the Upgrade Option

Scroll down to the bottom of the page under your profile section, and you’ll see an upgrade option. Click on “Upgrade to a Business account”. Please note that the upgrade option may look slightly different on your screen, but it will still be there.

Step 3: Select Your Upgrade Option

On the next screen, you’ll have two options to choose from. The first option is to set up a new business account using a new email address. This will create a separate business account, while keeping your current PayPal account as it is. If you choose this option, follow the prompts to enter your legal first and last name, your new business email address, and create a password.

Once you’ve completed the sign-up process, you’ll be asked to provide basic information about your business, such as your business name, address, income, and bank information.

The second option is to use your current email address and convert your personal account to a business account. Please note that if you choose this option, your personal account will be closed and your balance and information will be moved to the new business account. However, you’ll still be able to see your past PayPal activity.

Step 4: Enter Your Business Information

If you choose to convert your personal account to a business account, you’ll be asked to provide your business information on the next screen. This will include your business name, address, and other relevant details. Once you’ve entered all the necessary information, click on “Agree and Upgrade Account”.

Step 5: Get Started with Your New PayPal Business Account

Congratulations! You’ve successfully converted your personal PayPal account to a PayPal Business account. You can now start using your account to manage and grow your business. With PayPal Business, you can easily send invoices to your customers, accept payments from all over the world, and track your sales and expenses.

Hey i wanted to ask, in the account set up i put everything (card, verified email, avatar, etc) but i didnt put the last one out of five which is bank account, i dont see all the options i can only see my balance and card info.
