I am a tax consultant and the fact is early you file the return, you will receive your refund late and on filing the return at last moments your return will be processed early.. On what policies CBDT is working is out of our course.

Clients Return filed by me in june r still waiting for refund and few clients filling at last moment have received refund but not within 10 Days....

Waiting for the refund for 124 days.
Government performance is not at all improving. It's getting worse.
Now the gst department takes more than 1 month to revert. FSSAI department takes more than 1 month to revert for modifications and sometimes more than 2 months to get the modification done. Government departments are worsening year by year.
