I play alto and tenor sax as well as the clarinet and have been on the fence on picking up the soprano sax. Well this performance has solidified my decision to going full out with an absolute yes. Astonishing performance.

You two just hypnotized me, which can happen quite often with a Chaconne. Yes, for a brief moment I even imagined that I had seen and heard Bon dancers and singers.
Oh, the Tokyo Concert Hall definitely has an organ and or maybe a harpsichord. We passive YouTubers would like to hear more about such chaconnes. What a magnificent sound.

Rui's tone is beautiful. Even the loudest passages are smooth and warm. Does anyone know what brands instrument/mouthpiece she uses? I guess it's a Selmer Series III with a JLV ligature.
