Our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

A household income of over $100k should not be living paycheck to paycheck still and never getting ahead

What are you trying to say?
Average Americans purchasing power is 40% lower today than 2020 January!

They are playing games with the math. If something started out as $5 and in one year went up to $6 and in another $7 then on the final year $7.25 you brag that it only went up $.25.

Yes the economy is great for billionaires, but not for the average American

This sounds like a grad student trying to convince me that governments don’t need to worry about spending more money than they take in taxes - ever. Teaching Keynesian economics to a someone who had to balance their checkbook every month. Just because the rate of inflation is down doesn’t mean the prices have gone down. My groceries still cost me over twice as much as they did in 2020. Energy is still 75% more expensive.

Now show Credit Card debt numbers that have hit all time highs. People going into debt for necessities is not a good indicator of economic success. Yes this has been a great economy for those with assets but not for the majority of Americans.

Oh, look at that. They think so highly of you that it's just a mattr of time before you forget you can't afford anything, dummies.

We work hard to have nothing. Inflation has been going up for years but pay has stayed the same. The economy is doing well, but pay has been the same. Pay has not increased for ten years despite what these people say.

Prices for farm commodities, equipment, and supplies went up 50% since covid. Now commodity prices are back down, to nearly what they were, but our costs remain just as high. Prices in the grocery store are still up. Shrinkflation is also evident. Farmers can't set their price, and we are getting the squeeze, and no one is talking about it.
