MyAntennas EFHW 4010 2k Plus

I am new to the ham world, passed my General ticket in November '24. I just ordered this antenna from MyAntenna.

I recently installed the 40 Meter Version in a more or less horizontal version up to more or less 25 feet. At the beginning the SWR was horrible so I folded back the wire. After many attempts I got an SWR of around 1.6 on the whole 7 MHz Band, an SWR of 1.2 on the whole 14 MHz, an SWR of around 1.6 on the whole 21 MHz Band and an SWR of 1.1 around 29.3 MHz. As on 10 I usually operate around 28.3 to 28.5....the SWR is around 2....Did not get better Results. Did not try to test it into operation so far...that will come

Question, does it matter where on I mount the 4010 transformer? I was thinking near the top of a 15ft pole so I can run the RG8U into a window.

Couldn’t you have just shortened the wire to 66 feet and continued using the 8010 unun and tuning the wire for 40 m rather than getting an entirely new antenna? Both require a 49:1 unun.
