Adobe Acrobat vs. Foxit Reader - touch and pen support

The latest Adobe Acrobat CC supports simultaneous touch and pen input. Eraser button on the pen is also supported.

My favorite PDF program, Foxit Reader, however, still does not support touch and pen input.

Tested on a Surface Studio device.

Is there a way to have the reading mode to switch pages by swiping left & right like a tablet instead of up and down?

On the Right, Foxit is set to Mouse mode and not Touch Mode, this is clearly misguiding.

Why do use Acrobat instead of Drawboard.

adobe acrobat requires a yearly expensive subscription, Foxit does not.
