The RapidTurn™ is an accessory for the Tormach PCNC 1100 and PCNC 770 mills. It adds turning capabilities to your mill. It has a 5C spindle taper with a 1 HP spindle motor to achieve speeds between 100 and 3500 RPM. It includes a manual indexing plate to fix the spindle in 15° increments, enabling milled features to be machined without re-fixturing the workpiece.

Could you leave it on table all the time with a vice to the right? Would there be a worry of table warp? Could you use a fixture plate to mount it off to the side like Tosa did for fourth axis OR a full table plate to reinforce the table? Is it heavy? Thanks!

Nice little unit. How much does it weigh would be a thought for me.
Also, I recently bought a couple of things from Tormach that had a value of just under $50.00(AUD). By the time I got it delivered, and the exchange rate, plus the fees the bank charged it was just under $150.00 (AUD). Not very good value at the moment here is Oz!
