i remember being sixteen and thinking “omg loren’s life is so perfect I wish mines was like hers” and this podcast just proves that you never know what the other person is going through so judging it in any sort of way is pointless 👏

Trisha is this young woman’s therapist in this, she needed to get all of this out. Bless them both ❤

Just because you carry your trauma well doesn’t mean that it isn’t heavy 😔 Loren if you’re reading this, from one survivor to another, you did not deserve any of the trauma and abuse you have suffered from such a precious age. You are so incredibly strong to even just wake up in the morning and continue to put one foot in front of the other every day. ❤❤❤

The way she kept saying sorry for her trauma breaks my heart. She deserves so much love and I wish her healing. I wish I could give her a hug.

I had an abortion at 19, I couldn’t fucking possibly imagine having a miscarriage at the age of 13 and how mentally damaging it would be.

When she said she experienced miscarriage as a child could not even fathom what she meant. That’s horrific and amazing she can talk about it.

I study journalism and how you (Trisha) ask the question but keeps the conversation going is so incredibly good!! I’m so proud of you Trisha! I don’t think people understand how difficult it is to talk about trauma and difficult questions and keep the conversation going and showing sympathy! I’m so proud!!

Hearing Loren talk about having a miscarriage so young makes me feel not alone because I had a miscarriage as a teenager

I feel her when she says she was looking for a safe space in boys after being SA. I was SA at 15 and i dealt with it the same exact way. Boys felt like a safe space for me. It wasnt until i turned 22 that i realized how much i was letting that experience dictate my perspective and therefore my decisions. I was 22 when I realized what was done to me wasn’t my fault. Till this day, I can’t speak about to anyone bc I’m still embarrassed it happened to me.

this was honestly my favorite episode so far. it was raw, wholesome, and just unequivocally real! i could have watched hours more of this podcast!! i think it’s beautiful that loren trusted not only trish but her audience to be as honest and vulnerable as she was.

i have been following loren for YEARS she has grown into such an admirable young woman, so intelligent, so sweet, genuinely kind and considering the traumatic way she grew up, this truly shows how authentic and kind hearted she really is in her core. she actually needs to come back to the podcast in the future, we all love her very much!
