I've never seen this variation of cable stitching technique. This makes it SUPER easy to understand with a 3rd needle {cable needle} I finally get it! Thank you very much! 🌷

I've watched this video over and over! Thank you much. I'm making chunky cable house socks for my daughter (she saw them on a photo, no pattern). Got out the calculator and these cables are perfect for up the front of the sock. Let it rest for a Fis Lips Kiss Heel and sock! Oh, a long one too so it's slouchy! I'm on the second one and brought out your video. Thanks so much!

That was the easiest video I've found on cables. every other video I've watched had totally confused me. I'm definitely giving it a go first thing tomorrow! Oh and the yarn looks amazing, will have to get my hands on some of that for this winter ❤

This is one of the best videos! I did not get how to do it and this was perfect. To many videos get into to much of explanation but yours was simple and too the point!

I've been knitting for 5 years and I suck at cables. That being said it is very hard to try and compete in 4-H when all the patterns I like are cables. This really helped me, thank you very much!

Yes! No sounds or chit chat in the background, just pure silence and an actual get to the point demo, love it! (i have been searching YouTube how to knit a cable stitch and finally came across this video that just gets straight to the point)
Just a question, how much stitches did you cast on?

Brilliant use of oversize demonstration props. Even my old eyes can see what you're doing without squinting. Thank you!

this was so helpful! Just a quick question, if you are knitting stockinette stitch, would you repeat the same steps on the purl side as well?

Hi Kathy,

It will depend on your pattern, but yes, that is the idea! Usually there are a few 'rest' rows of knit and purl between cable rows.

Its MUCH better to see the work with the huge needles. Thankyou for this and I like the no talking too. Some videos talk too much before the instructions. 🥢❤🧶
