I enjoy the way this song is basically a conversation/dialogue. It sounds amazing.

I love how when Venom surrounds Eddie he looks like he’s making an exoskeleton around him and when Carnage takes control he violently rips out of Cletus showing their different connections to their hosts and personalities

Honestly, even if you take away the fact that the song is about Venom, it still holds up. It just sounds like a ballad of anyone battling their demons and I personally think that makes it even better. Even after 10 years Skull and Pat continue to amaze me.

I like how this song is basically about Brock's mentality merged with Venom's twisted thought. It also captures the idea that even though Brock can be in denial, Venom knows what he really feels.

Y'know, the movie's may not focus to much on that twisted mentality that venom gives out, but your raps always capture that perfectly, along with the little references in the lyrics and amazing vocals, they really are something special

Wow, those vocals were no less than immersive, I could really feel the overwhelming emotional confliction in the tone that's perfect for the source material. The bass was just invigorating with the feeling of power, and that electronic-esque touch to the music gave it so much energy. I love it, it makes me want to go conquer all my demons at once!

I like the parallel between the different psyche of the symbiotes and the undertones of what the hosts feel under each of them. It's also a nice allegory for people in everyday life, tugging between the perversion of thoughts and the outright barbarity of thoughts each person feels under differing situations.

As expected, the rap for Venom 2 is as good if not better than the first one.
My fav lyric is "When I buried the monster, all I buried was me" because I used to shut down every feeling in me and blind myself from my own shadows, and was missing on every lights that were hiding behind them...

I love how this song bring attention to how sick the actual film was, we all love Venom because they're unhinged and crazy, justifying murder with justice, the symbiote drawing out all the worst in people. Yet the movie framed it as being the better half of the two of them, and we agreed that it was their better halves.

Something I wanted to point out IG.
Good movie, brilliant song, keep making bangers guys.

First of all .
"Time to introduce you to your better half"(feels badass in many ways).
"From the ashes we can build a dollhouse for the devil"(this line is straight from a horror movie)
"Better to trust the devil you know, than the devil you know(better to take chances with the evil you know, than the one you don't).
"Cause I've been making a hell of my own, and I welcome you come"(I can't explain the dark emotions this gives, i love it).
"A part of me has love for carnage"(we all have an inner demon will very questionable desires ).
"Consciously I never want it"(were too prude and scared to accept it).
"But I'm afraid I've let him in"(it's a part of you, you can't change that ).

Jt music song writings are so lovely,
The lines are written like a story, a real immersive story that you can't shut out once you're listening to it, a story that you're embracing as a part of yourself .

JT music doesn't give you an exhibition of skill or talent,
They take you for a ride .and that's what keeps you coming back

I watched Venom: LTBC and honestly I loved it as much as the first one. A lot of people bash it and I personally tried to see their points, however as much as I try, I just cannot. I enjoyed watching both movies and cannot wait to see what they have in store for Venom and Eddie.

Honest to god, one of the best movies I have watched, underrated in my opinion.

I really like the song for the first Venom movie, glad you guys made a second. Also, I like that Skull is mixing up his singing style a little

I just realised something incredible, I just realised this song is a layered introspection of Skulls alter ego trying to remind him why this half of him is worth more to us than the other is to him. To remind him to be inspired by his better half, not intimidated by it but I can't help but question if this "better half" is intended to be better for him, or better for us.

I think the second verse really expresses this concept. "Better to trust the devil you know" referencing the best way to deal with his pain and stress, the pressure and mental demand of creating music for the world means he carries more weight than most and the more weight he carries the less power he pulls from his original engine vs an additional anaesthetic such as alcohol to help him through it. The devil is the engine that drove him down his path, which means he trusts himself enough not to betray us.

There's a reason this song already has a powerful attachment to it's audience, it's a very rare anthem of a kind of ultimate sacrifice we're prepared to decipher but not prepared to face. Deep down we hear the raw essence of strength in Skull's voice and the intent placed into the creation of the instrumental and deep down this is the kind of true substance this world deprives us of.

I think the first Venom rap fits perfectly for Venom's origin story in the comics, and now this fits for the storyline where Eddie parts from Venom on an auction, and Venom changes hosts from time to time. And at the end he reunites with Eddie.

harrelson as cassidy was so damn chilling. "i've tasted blood before, brock. and that wasn't it."
