Next character is Chrom. I would say it's Up Air. Frame 5, -4 on shield, ridiculously good at comboing, and the fact it has no sour spot makes it a lot more consistent than Roy's Up Air. It's also worth mentionning that Chrom has amazing air speed, so he can abuse this move even more than some characters could, and it's already one of the best up airs in a vacuum. It would be even better if Chrom could jump higher, but yeah.

Roy main here, would prob say dtilt for neutral utility techchasing insane -3 and pushback and tons of shield damage its just a move you can spam whenever you want for low risk medium reward gameplay

fair and uair also get a shout and delayed nair 2 is very strong landed

I agree with this, jab just confirms into so much shit, i was about to say aerials are better but jab confirms to back air, and even at low level it confirms to fair, without that roy would have to do a hard read into an F smash or a side B.

If you don’t know how to do jair i think aerials wins (either fair or nair tbh i think they’re as good depending on the situation, nair confirms into stuff too at least first hit), simply bc fair puts into tech situation really early, which can lead into an early kill with side B or F smash if you know what you’re doing, pretty hard to tech too if its unexpected, but yeah even then i think jab would be at a SIMILAR level to aerials, not a superior level, bc jab is that busted, its literally free shield pressure against more than half of the cast that can’t be challenged at all.

Dtilt is probably better than jab. Up air and fair are so good, Bair and nair are close. Jab is indeed a sleeper pick. It's not as good as the other moves but it's more rewardin and consistent, so it's s good choice.

For chrom is up air and i think is almost ad good as mario's up air, frame 5 startup, -4 on shield, has a massive hitbox and it's good for combos, and it dosen't even have a sourspot, in fact roy's uo air isn't as good because it has a sourspot
