Exploring BUDVA | Montenegro’s Popular Beach Resort Town!

BUDVA, MONTENEGRO: One day exploring the popular resort town of Budva in the heart of the Montenegrin Riviera. It’s here you’ll find the best beaches & coolest holiday hotels in the country.

The Budva Riviera is a stretch of coastline populated by numerous towns and seaside resorts - the largest and most popular of which is Budva. It's the place to find Montenegro's best beaches, most popular tourist resorts and once the sun goes down the liveliest nightlife in the country.

My intention was to find an old fortress on the Eastern most peninsula before walking around the resorts and heading onwards to Greco Beach and Budva Beach - two places popular with holidaymakers.

Rather than sunbathe I wanted to see as much of the scenery as I could, especially the contrasting beaches and waterfront plazas that drive Budva’s tourism industry. It's hard to describe the look of those golden sandy beaches and how they complement the distant lush green mountains under the moody, storm filled sky - so through the power of travel vlogging I thought I'd show you instead.

Budva is popular with tourists and locals alike - it’s also a place you’ll find plenty of cheap food and budget accommodation. Lots of people who come for a package holiday to Montenegro come to Budva and whilst it’s always good to relax inside the resort it’s also enjoyable to get out and see the local scene.
