In this video, Rivian are fast becoming the world’s most promiscuous EV company with YET another new partner—one of Tesla’s exes actually (more on that later in this video). And we have confirmation of a record-breaking month for Tesla Shanghai, hinting at a staggering September which could see close to 100,000 vehicles delivered in a single month. Just from Shanghai.

Announcing your intention to build an EV doesn’t make you a competitor. You’re only a spectator running onto the field. When you start pushing your EV out the back door, you’ve graduated from spectator to player. When you’re making 10-digit profits, THEN you graduate to competitor.

Stock analysts are behaving exactly like the guy who’s broken the world pole vault record about 20 times. Every time he broke it he got a bonus for doing it so he kept raising the height by 1cm each time! Exactly what Dan is doing - every time his price target is raised he gets more views. Good on him!

Until there is another EV maker that has giga casting, Tesla has no competition. Everyone seem to look at just EV delivery numbers, but even IF someone could catch up to Tesla in EV deliveries, they are not going to catch up in profit margins per car.

The biggest hurdle for Tesla throughout the next 12 months clearly is Giga Berlin. As a German this topic is near and dear to my heart but I have to warn y‘all: Giga Berlin may be the most modern factory in Europe to date, but as long as everything around that factory continues to move in turtle speed and as long as difficulties with German state officials are not resolved I just have to lower my expectations concerning stock performance significantly. Of course, Germany‘s just a little piece in Teslas puzzle but in my opinion the overall impact still is significant. Love your videos regardless, take care :)

Rivian is wasting time partnering with different OEM's, it will slow down its own car. Rivian should focus on their own first.
