Electric Unicycle (EUC) Busted by Police Arlington - riding on Route 50

An electric unicycle (EUC) was riding along with traffic at 430pm on Route 50, taking an exit to Courthouse, a popular place to live in Arlington, Virginia. Rt 50 is considered a highway, cars reaching 60mph, with no bike lanes. The police station is about a quarter mile from where the rider was pulled over, and was wondering if the police was coming off shift and would let the rider go. But right before I turned the camera on, the police flashed lights. The Police let the rider off with a warning.
Update: I linked up with a DC EUC Group Glydiators. Look forward to purchasing an EUC this fall and riding with them, and taking videos of DC on an EUC

Here in the UK its 6 points on your licence ( 12 is a ban ), hefty fine and wheel confiscated and crushed.

Just stay off fast roads and your good...if you can ride an e assist bicycle on the road you want to be on then your safe to take a EUC down it. Stay off highway lol

Does anyone know why this video is getting so many views? I am not publishing anything on Youtube laterly due to being busy on another project, but it spiked the last few days. Maybe it was posted on a forum? I have some great videos while riding my bicycle with a helmet cam and racing along e-skate boards, that I will post one day.

What if the demand for EV EUC e scooters was thru the roof? they wouldnt be able to ban them if that happened and they would have no choice but to build infrastructure for them. Imagine we are in that era when we can see pedestrians flying on the road staying still commuting. Assuming that guy had a euc that goes 45mph...

I think cops just don't know where to place us. In WA. state we have clear bicycle laws....you can ride almost anywhere you want, unless posted, that you feel safe. This is what I will tell a cop if he pulls me over.

Not surprised. I'd imagine safety and curiosity were the culprit for this encounter. 60mph with no bike lanes is pretty darn risky....

Cant take EUC's on highway. Other than that the EUC rider was fine, he probably just gave him a warning is all. I dont the cop is in the wrong if he is just giving him a warning to not use the highways with this device. If its more than that, then the cop should have better things to do.

Cops Probably mad he didn't pull over immediately . You Do you have a right to pull over where its safe .cops Probably wondering why he didn't you just lose him in a heartbeat

Cop with nothing better to do, most say "you can't ride that" but have no idea what it is. Bike lanes and side streets should be allowed with a 20 mph speed limit.

We have traffic laws for a reason, if you're not licensed registered insured inspected vehicle get on the side of the road little boy😢 I ride EUC all day long but I don't ride in the middle of the road
