As a Notre Dame fan, I really feel bad for #31 Dillon Thieneman. You can tell he wanted to make the tackle on almost every play but was just overmatched. I think he could have had at least 6 more tackles in this game. Hopefully he takes it on the chin and learns from it.

I think the loss to Northern Illinois woke Notre Dame up, I've seen teams have bad losses like that, and play like they're supposed to the rest of the season...look for them to be 10-1 heading into Southern California

BIG QUESTION: How has the large infusion of cash from the Big 10 Network benefitted Boilermaker football? Note, during the Drew Brees era, there was no big infusion of cash because the Big10 Network was non-existent. So, now that there is the large cash infusion....how is the program benefitting from it?
