The story about Archie Karas is incorrect. He won his $40, 000, 000 in the late 80's playing no limit craps at the Horseshoe. It is true he won a nice score playing Razz but it wasn't in Vegas, it was at the Commerce Casino in LA then came to Vegas where he met an Unnamed connected wiseguy who together went to the Horseshoe. Jack Binion casino was on the verge of bankruptcy as a result. Archie then placed in several strip casinos 5 million each where he lost most of his winnings as well as losing over 1 million to various Pool players over the course of a year. He did manage to buy his mother a beautiful home in Greece as well as having a 90k Mercedes which he was still driving in the late 90s. His Hold'em poker abilities was not the same as his Razz expertise. He lost millions playing Hold'em as well as losing at Baccarat.

My life story is making 30k a year but losing 15k a year to gambling. Late 2000s gambled thousands on a game I couldn't win, mailorder bride from Ukraine. Then in 2010s I played a game I could win but made poor choices, casino gambling. You can win but you have to leave, if you don't, you just lose!
