Less than half of Americans plan to get COVID or flu vaccines this year, survey finds

Health experts are getting the word out about the importance of flu and COVID-19 vaccinations as we head into the fall and winter months, but a new survey reveals many Americans aren't jumping in line to receive their shots. CBS News' Michael George has more.

I hav an appointment togo to the pharmacy tomorrow and am scheduled to receive the Covid booster, flu and RSV vaccined. I believe everyone has the freedom to or not to get vaccinated-it's a personal choice.

I work in an office environment where two separate branches of the business have offices. Unfortunately, neither is required to report positive cases to the other. We share a cafeteria and bathrooms, so it would be helpful to know if someone has COVID. I don't want to get sick, so that's why I am going to be vaccinated.

I am old, so I have gotten mine every year since this whole thing started. So far I have not had any bad reaction. Now I had covid twice but without any symptoms. Found out due to being exposed, I did a home test. I would not be able to handle being the one getting others sick just because I did not check. Only God knows how many have died because of irresponsible people. We will all have to answer to God.

i believe in diet thats lead to natural strong immunity, but not everyone's in the same boat so for most people they should get it

As a medical lab scientist who had never been diagnosed with COVID, I’M GETTING IT! One of my coworkers, who does Covid testing along with myself, has it!! She and every third Covid test I perform is POSITIVE!!!

100% unvaxed and feeling splendid. Never even got Covid. I work remote and followed mask mandates as well as social distancing. Saying this before I hear the “THANK THOSE WHO DID!”. Rather than that, I’m genuinely concerned for those who did.
