I am a former Nissan Tech. You are wrong about them not having a vent. It is to the right of the center housing above the brake line. Everyone I have ever worked on had one. The problem is they would get clogged because it is a poor design. Anytime I had one on the lift I would spin the vent cap to loosen the dirt/crud in it so it could breath. You are right in the fact that this issue causes the axle seals to leak.

Another issue is the front diff axle seals like to leak a bit to often and when people get it fixed, they don't replace the cir clip that holds the axle in. Then the axle likes to pop out and destroy the diff.

Also as one mentioned already. Mode door actuator.

The A/C fan right behind the front bumper goes bad.

The fuel pump relay has a recall that no one ever gets replaced till they have an issue.

I had a 2007 Titan Texas Edition and didn't have any of these problems. Only cosmetic. Sold it after 150, 000 miles for a new Titan pro4x. Love these Titans.

I bought my 2007 Nissan Titan with 6k miles on it in 2008 when stationed out in Camp Pendleton. It’s 2023 and I still have my 2007 Nissan Titan. Dropped about 15k in aftermarket and a custom paint job in 2009. I love it to death, only now is it on bonus time. It was totaled out in 2019 and I bought it back and used the insurance money to fix it. I also have a 2004 4 door SE Nissan and Titan 2016 Nissan Armada Platinum. I will always be firm supporter in Nissan and especially the Titan. I’ve had brand New GMC denalis 2012-2014..Jeeps and Fords. And plenty others. I do not own any of those vehicles now. Except a 2105 Jeep Rubicon. Maintenance is ridiculous. Titans and Nissan are the best and I can vouch for them 100%

My 2007, built in 11/2006, owned by me since 2009, has only had one issue you spoke of, the axle seal on one side. Just last year. I had the seal replaced and I installed a axle breather tube setup myself, totally agree on that. I can't believe you didn't mention exhaust manifold failure!

Thanks lost my 2019 Ram 1500 due to texting driver. I ended up buying a 05 Titan and I love it honestly more than the Ram Thanks I will have my mechanic look at every one of these potential issues.

My 2007 Titan has 190k. I bought it used in '08. So far I have replaced the radiator due to cracking at about 150K. I replaced all upper and lower control arms, ball joints and bearing units. Recently the valve covers, AC compressor. All brakes and rotors. Power window actuators, drive shaft support bracket and it runs like a beast still. The good news is these trucks are fairly easy to work on yourself if you have the time and patience. Love my big red.

You missed one of the biggest ones, AC/heat blend door.

I have a 2015 Titan and it has been the most durable and comfortable trucks I've owned

The first gens have a vent nipple on the rear axle and I saw it right above your head in the video, a cost saving idea for Nissan but it gets dirty and no longer vents. I went with a fuel line hose and brought it up to the brake light housing.

I'm the original owner and my 2007 luckily has none of these issues. It's never been to a shop except for tires. I do the general maintenance as required and I do the simple transmission drain and fill ever 20k miles. The K56 motor is great. I will definitely buy another Titan.

The transmission cooler problem was fixed after 2009. Aside from that, and a few weird HVAC issues, they’re solid trucks that can be as reliable as a Toyota Tundra. Never knew anyone with a negative comment about them. Even knew someone that drove one around with a leaking thermostat housing for a long time and it never broke down on em, even when it was overheating.

I feel like the the blend door actuators are a top five problem. In the forums, seems like most people have it after a while. Granted, they don't render the vehicle inoperable, but replacing them is very difficult. So we're normally just stuck with annoying clicking for 3-28 minutes when we move the blend door from feet to face... Also, the brake booster... Other than all these problems, love my Armada.

I had a 2008 Titan with almost 200k on it. Only replace the starter, was a good truck. Drove it pretty hard on and off-road, never left me stranded.

Thanks for this video. Armada, QX56, and Titans are so reliable. But many people sleep on them

You can avoid blowing out your axle seals by adding a vent breather tube. its like a $40 mod.

You also left out one of the biggest issues these trucks have and that being the OEM exhaust manifolds. They are guaranteed from the factory to fail. Most people upgrade to performance headers to avoid it permanently. because it is not an issue that goes away once. its a guarantee to happen every time with OEM style manifolds

I never had any of these issues in my 2013 and I put over 100k miles before I got rid of it I currently own a 2021 titan have 15k miles already and love it

You state the axle doesn't have a vent.
My `06 has a factory vent on the righthand axle tube.
It did get plugged and blew out the seal, but it does exist and a Ford vent plug threads right in.
