I Got The Right Version

I lived in Kansas City in 1996. That year, there was a ton of rain, and lots and lots of flooding. In fact, one interstate highway came apart and had to be blocked off, due to the flooding. Anyway, at Bonner Springs Kansas, at the Sandstone Ampitheater, Foreigner came to play. That particular day, it had not been raining. It was like the first time and I don’t know how many days that there was no rain. It was cloudy, but that was fine, because we got to see the show. Anyway Foreigner was putting on a great show. They started to play “Jukebox Hero” and when the line came up saying “standing in the rain, in a heavy downpour”, the clouds opened up and some of the hardest rain I’ve ever experienced came down right then. The band continue to play, but many were people running to their cars and freaking out. There was some people that had brought large sheets of plastic and people would be on the perimeter of this plastic sheet holding it up with a bunch of people underneath. That’s where I ended up. It was the greatest, and maybe the freakiest thing I’ve ever seen.

Lou Gramm has more soul. His voice is one of the greatest in rock. You cannot duplicate it. The other guy tried, but the feel and the SOUL in Lou's voice is the difference. Cold as Ice is one of my favorites.

The production on this album is incredible because of Mutt Lange. Everything Mutt touches turns to platinum.

Kelly Hansen is the Current singer and he’s great but Lou Gramm is Fire 🔥 You have great ears my friend & yes the version is a little different. The original to me has more punch to it 🎸🎶🎤🔥

Lou Gramm is one of my favorite voices in rock along with Paul Rodgers. So much GUTS. Foreigner is a wonderful band with TONS of great hits to react to. I even enjoyed Lou's solo album Ready or Not!

Foreigner was one of the hottest bands of the 70s and they stayed hot into the 90s when Dynamic front man Lou Gram was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He almost lost his life but, out of desperation, he turned his life completely over over to Jesus Christ.

This is one of those songs that you remember where you were when you heard it the first time. I was driving down the highway and I was like "What is this awesome song?"! Classic!!! Thank you Jamel! Adore this song
