As a kid we lived in a small neighborhood and the houses were real close together and my old man had a pioneer system in the glass case and he’d bust out this vinyl and rock the house and piss off all the neighbors to where they were beating down the door. He’d just laugh. He didn’t give a fuck. He passed away on 10-14-23. Thanks for the memories dad I’ll keep cranking foreigner at full blast in your memory. I love you!

When this song hit the radio In 1981 I was 15. We couldn't have known it then how iconic this song would become..maybe we had a sense...all I knew was it was great!! really great!! hearing it now thinking back I get a great feeling of how special those times were then....thank you Lou Gramm and Mick Jones for writing this....I heard Mick tell the story of how a fan alone in the rain I think in Ohio was the inspiration for this....He waited outside in the rain for hours at some arena.Mick said they felt sorry for him then invited him inside for a VIP experience...how cool!

Foreigner is one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll bands of all time! In 2024 they finally were inducted into the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame! An honor, long overdue! I’ve loved their music since the early 80s!

As a kid, I got all the 45 rpms from the Jukebox my grandparents had in their "brasserie" (some kind of "bar" in France, meaning "brewry").

And one of them was this song, it was my first "hair metal" I heard on my old disc player from the 70's. Still love it to this day. It almost makes me cry to listen to this gem.
