Just realised that Chris Evans was born in 1981. Cap: The First Avenger came out in 2011, and he took this role until 2019. Which means he spent his entire 30s (prime age for action stars?) being Cap. What a legend!

Cap's strength and abilities are limited. But I love how in each film he appears in, he continues to learn and adapt. He continues to LOOK stronger. From basic 1940's boxing fisticuffs to fluid and acrobatic fight moves to RAW fighting.

I love how at 9:01 Cap puts up his shield to block bullets and he doesn’t get shot at. It makes his actions feel less choreographed and more realistic.

The Russos were the best thing to ever happen to Cap. They turned a true blue boyscout once thought of as a joke into a complete badass and one of the best characters in the MCU.

Captain America was always my favorite character, nice guy, humble yet a total badass at war. Without any major powers he still manages to hold his weight amongst god like characters. His moves and bravery are total unparalleled.

It never ceases to amaze me how good at fighting Cap is. His moves don’t look completely unrealistic, it looks like something that someone with a lot of training and strength could feasibly pull off for the most part.

The elevator fight is one of my most favorite fights in the entire MCU. It’s so satisfying watching Cap go ham despite being outnumbered and confined in such a small space. Also, throwing Rumlo into the ceiling of it and literally denting it is amazing.
However, Age of Ultron had the best introduction scene ever.

I know everyone loves Iron Man, and Robert did a fantastic job with him, but you'll never convince me that Chris didn't do the best portrayal of Cap we'll ever have as well.

Cap's hand to hand combat is so satisfying to watch. Some of the best fight scenes ever made on the big screen. Fast, clean and effective. It never gets old.
