Bellissimi arrangiamenti, grande fascino dell'interprete. Dall'omonimo film di David Lynch (1986).

The way you can see kyle fall in love with the woman, full of curiosity and Laura sees it so her insecurity is crippling because she’s clearly has feelings for Kyle and regrets going on this “mission” without both of them saying words…urg such great actors this scene is everything <3

one of the movies where I didn't care about storyline, I just was there. I barely remember anything but emotions. I was fully emotionally soaked

There's something so eerily fascinating about Frank Booth, seeing a soft side to him, the way he gets choked up watching her sing, considering his chaotic personality and how he usually is. He really is an interesting character shrouded in mystery.

Just heard the devastating news. I still can’t believe it. Thank you, David. For everything. I can’t even express what he meant me. 😔

God that exchange of glances at ~0:21. So many things said with nothing but context and body language.

Thank you David Lynch, for Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks, and giving us a legacy we shall cherish and try to mimic until we, too, go. Rest in peace 🕊️

A week after I saw this film, I was working at the Beverly Centre when Isabella came into the shop and asked me a question. When she smiled I saw that front tooth that caught the light in the film when she was slapped, and a chill went up my spine.

0:21 - 0:27 Young FBI agents Diane Evans and Dale Cooper working on their first ever criminal case.
Seriously, I was thrilled to see Laura Dern and Kyle MacLachlan reunited in 'Twin Peaks: The Return" three decades after they were in "Blue Velvet" together.

He was the best. I watched Blue Velvet, Eraserhead and Mulholland Drive at 17 and the feeling and shock I felt when I first saw his movie are indescribable. Thanks to him, I have been writing movie scenarios since then. He was a cult film god and the first director to show how to bring the human subconscious into a movie. It is heartbreaking that he has passed away. 💔 I pray his soul may rest in peace. 🙏

That dress looked amazing on her. She owned it. The voice was so sweet and smooth.

I just watched Blue Velvet and I can't decide if I admired it greatly or absolutely despised it. Even though I felt that I didn't like it, there is something so strangely fascinating and alluring about the film. You can't help thinking about it for the rest of your life. For me, a film is about the experience and the journey it takes you as an audience through. And for this incredible journey, I'm very thankful to Mr. Lynch.
