If Cryptocurrencies are going to be regulated by the Fed, doesn't this defeat the point of their existence? After all, the Federal Reserve's "mismanagement" of fiat currency gave rise to Cryptocurrencies to begin with. El Salvador just experienced a huge bust as a result of making Bitcoin legal tender. While in Brazil, a number of Bitcoin ponzi schemes are wreaking havoc throughout the nation.
