Bouboo, a world class dancer, received 3 out of 4 votes for his dance performance. Everyone was shocked as this meant that he was at a risk of being eliminated because another dancer could volunteer to battle against him.

Bouboo is also Yibo’s favorite dancer so he was a bit upset that Lay didn’t vote for him and was scared he might get eliminated. One thing you need to know is that although Bouboo is a great dancer, this particular performance and dance style is very different to what he normally does and Lay had higher expectations from him.

Anyways, after he received 3 votes, a dancer volunteered to battle against him by freestyling to the music Bouboo performed with. In the end, all the judges (including LAY) voted for Bouboo and he was safe from eliminations, the other dancer was eliminated instead.

Keep in mind, Lay was particularly strict on giving votes during this episode because he wanted to give other dancers an opportunity to battle and prove themselves. He didn’t give the dancer a vote unless it was exceptional. This is because once 49 dancers are safe from eliminations, the rest of the contestants will be eliminated automatically, even if they haven’t performed yet, they will be eliminated

1. Lay only covered his eyes during voting because he knew people are gonna be shocked by his actions of not giving Bouboo a vote

2. Unless you have actually watch SDC season 3 and season 4, you don’t have the right to accuse and criticise Lay of anything

3. This clip is from SDC season 4 but they already knew each other from SDC season 3. Bouboo and Lay actually respect each other a lot, Bouboo even acknowledged Lay as a professional dancer after seeing his impressive Krump dance battle

4. This show is nothing like SWF or SMF, there is ZERO drama, ZERO evil editing, ZERO disrespect in SDC (Street dance of China), they like to joke a lot and they mainly focus on every dancer’s love and passion for dance and their competitiveness

5. Some people are being ignorant in the comments, just because you’ve never heard of or watched SDC, it doesn’t mean it’s not popular compared to SWF. It’s one of the most popular shows in China and it literally has 6 seasons. This show became so popular they produced a Vietnam version. If it wasn’t popular, they wouldn’t have been able to invite the world’s top dancers like Hilty & Bosch and the Gogo brothers to compete (They are the OG of locking dance). And if you compare the judges on both shows, SDC had a crazier lineup of judges: Tony Gogo (One of the founders of Lock Dance, Michael Jackson Queen choreographer), Icee (has won multiple championships at Juste Debout, which is one of the most prestigious dance competitions out there), Phillip Chbeeb (Choreographer and dancer for Step Up the movie, choreographer on SYTYCD)

6. Yibo was not being bias. He gave Bouboo a vote because he genuinely loved the performance. Hangeng and Henry also gave Bouboo a vote.

Im confused when lay didnt vote for bouboo, cuz bouboo is is the Hiphop ares pf france you know, that is already at god level dancer, then as i continue watching it turns out that, Lay didnt vote cuz he wants to give other contestants chances to prove their selves cuz their are 100 contestant and only 49 can go to the next level. Though in the end bouboo still won
