iPhone Tips for Seniors: How to Setup Family Sharing

Want to save some money? Then setup Family Sharing and start saving. Apple introduced this feature a couple of years ago and if you're not using it, you should be. In this video, I share with a few simple steps to setup and get started with Family Sharing.

Thanks for this video! My husband got a new iPhone and trying to figure out sharing subscriptions was a challenge. You simplified the process! We still have one problem... I can't seem to share our extensive iMusic Library which I maintain on my MacBook Pro and is supposed to be synced to iMusic onto my husband's iPhone. Can you help or point me in a helpful direction?

This is great for people who have personal phone and work phone. So many people don’t want to use their “personal” AppleID on a work phone, but do it due to the idea of previously purchased apps. Using family sharing, you can create a “work” AppleID and then use this feature to install previously purchased apps!

Wht a good way of sharing, very clear! Thankyou! But i have some question.. I’ve subscribed iCloud 2tb and i wanna share with my family members.. can we divided the amount of iCloud gb for each account? And how can we know every member has used how many gb for their iCloud?

I just found your site, and excited I did. What bothers me is that many believe that you’re incapable of learning after a certain age, my son included. Consider a name change to; I’m a senior, not stupid. Teenagers weren’t born knowing how to tie their shoes or ride a bike.

This is off course here, but, I cannot find an answer to my problem. Have talked with Apple numerous times, but they say it is not their problem. I cannot find a way to contact Facebook. Now, the problem: I just purchased a 12.9” iPad pro. Issue is the” notifications” section on FB is too large for my screen. Any idea how to fix it? If I close the App the screen fits. But, I do not feel this should have to be done every time.
